Document Library 2

Collecting government documents related to the LGBT Purge is one of the Fund’s core activities and legally mandated under the terms of the class action settlement. We are pleased to share this second batch of documents. The first is found here.

The LGBT Purge Fund contracted former member of parliament, Svend Robinson, to collect and review the documents. His review led to their structural organization and the identification of key documents. Svend’s organization of the documents here differs from the first batch of documents. Our priority was to make these publicly accessible as soon as possible.

We are working with The Arquives to ensure that all of the historical documents we’ve received are organized consistently, searchable for ease of use and archived for the long-term.

As before, these documents have not been edited and are posted in the form they were received and titled with a government-issued identification number. This number system is not a significant identifier of the documents. The visual clarity of each document varies and most are in English.

Terms of use: These documents are available to the public for review, research and educational purposes. They are free to use, but we ask that you kindly give attribution to the LGBT Purge Fund in doing so. The documents must be used in context and may not be used to promote discrimination, harassment, hatred or violence against any person or group. The Purge Fund reserves the right to take action to prevent the misuse of these documents
